Yesterday, in an Internet cafe in Rosario, La Union the cafe owner, a British national, asked me: ‘Which one? ‘ (he’s referring to the computers). Quickly, I replied: ‘Anyone.’ Hahaha! How’s that? Until now I wonder if the cafe owner and some of the customers there bursted into laughter after I left the shop. Hmmm?
Former President Cory Aquino is dead. She died early morning yesterday after months of fighting for her life because of colon cancer. The lady in yellow who played a crucial role in sweeping away former president and dictator Ferdinand Marcos is gone. Yes, she’s gone but she will remain in the hearts of many Filipinos. For sure, Cory will always be remembered as a symbol of democracy not only in the Philippines but in the entire world as well. May she truly rest in peace.
Now I have another reason to laugh at Senator Jamby Madrigal: it’s because she’s running in the 2010 presidential race. Okay, Jamby is a lot better than some of the presidentiables but I don’t think it’s right for her to run in 2010. If she’s thinking, I mean thinking for the advantage of the opposition, then she must stay where she is right now.
On August 10, there will be a lecture at the Bulwagang Juan Luna of UP Baguio as part of the Baguio Centennial Anniversary. B.K. I will celebrate my 23rd birth anniversary on August 08. No party. No drinks. No barkada. And no sex. I’ll stay in my room and ponder and sleep and dream. Happy birthday to me. Oh hell, I’ll be twenty-three na. Huhu! I hate ageing.
@Kill Joy: Thank you so much for mending my broken heart. I love you and I will do everything to make you happy. Take good care of yourself always. Thanks again.
